Burnie City Market

The Burnie City Market is held the first and third Saturday of each month from 8:30am to 1pm at the rear of the Marine Terrace Multistorey Carpark.

Previously known as The Burnie Farmers' Market, which was the first community-run farmers' market established in Tasmania.

There are several stallholders, selling some of the region's best farm produce - including food and beverage stalls, hand-made baked goods and other crafts and hand-made products.

The Burnie City Market is still the best place to buy fresh local produce, and chat with the producer or farmer.

The Burnie City Market is owned by the Burnie City Council and managed by Angela Cannell.

Interested Stallholders

The Burnie City Market encourages stallholders with a variety and diverse range of goods to come along and join the great atmosphere of the market. It's only $30 to submit your stall. Discounts are given for a 12 month spot.

The Market can currently cater for 61 stallholders so we encourage the Burnie community to come along.
