West Park Oval and Cycling Track
West Park Oval is home to both Australian Rules football and cricket facilities, as well as cycling and athletics.
Since its opening in 1900, it has been a hub for sports, hosting legendary events such as champion cyclist Danny Clark's Burnie Wheel win in 1977 and the infamous goal post removal during the 1967 Tasmanian State Premiership Final.
In winter, the oval serves as the home ground for the Burnie Dockers men's and women's teams in the North West Football League. During summer, it hosts the Burnie Yeoman Cricket Club, also known as the Burnie Hurricanes, competing in the Cricket North West competition. Additionally, the ground is the venue for the Burnie Athletics Club's Burnie Gift and the City of Burnie Cycling Club's Burnie Wheel competition during the New Year's Eve carnival, along with A-Grade cricket matches and the 321Go children's running event.
The Point function centre at West Park is currently leased and managed by the Burnie Hurricanes cricket club.
