Are you after a new activity on Saturdays? We’ve got the best news for you…

We have a new market coming to town - the Burnie City Market! We’re combining the best of both worlds, collaborating rural and urban creators together in the same space, so the atmosphere will be your favourite aspects of other markets, in one place!

Come for the community, events, stalls, and nearby cafes for a warm drink - you can’t have a market in Winter without a few treats to warm everyone up.

You can expect plenty of variety, from:

fresh, delicious produce for you to purchase, to;

Beautiful stalls with the highest quality local products, keepsakes and gift-worthy pieces!

The first market will be held on Saturday, 6 July, and will consistently be held on the first and third Saturday of each month.

This new addition also means you’ve got another event to build your stall at. Applications for the first market morning will open on Monday 24 June, so you can save a spot for your stall!
