The SeaFM Burnie Christmas Parade is returning in 2024, with this year's parade scheduled to take place on Friday, the 6th of December within the Burnie CBD streets.

Float organisers have an exciting opportunity to apply for financial assistance to help bring their creative float ideas to life.

Whether it’s enhancing the float with materials, costumes, or decorations, the financial assistance aims to support the participants in realizing their vision.

Applicants are required to outline their intended use of the funds in their applications, detailing how the finances will be utilised.

Organizations such as community groups, not-for-profit entities, schools, or clubs planning to participate in this year’s parade are eligible to submit applications for financial aid.

It’s important to note that while the opportunity for financial assistance is available, it’s not guaranteed that all applications will be accepted or that the full requested amount will be provided.

Once the applications close, event organisers will assess the submissions to determine the recipients of the financial support.

Successful applicants will need to complete their float vision, participate in the parade and provide receipts for goods purchased to receive the agreed-upon financial assistance, which will be transferred to their nominated bank account within 21 business days.

What are you waiting for? Talk to your group and fill out the application below.

Applications close on Saturday, the 31st of August at midnight.

All applicants will be notified of their application status early September.
