Burnie Citizens of the Year 2024

Burnie City Council will hold a civic function in late May 2024, during the National Volunteer Week that runs from 20-26 May 2024 that will include the awarding of the Citizen of the Year and associated awards.

The function will also be used to recognise and thank all the wonderful volunteers in our community who donate their time to worthy community events, such as the welcoming of cruise ship passengers.

Further details will be provided later this year, including about the usual nomination process for the community awards.
