Congratulations to our newest Australian Citizens

A wonderful group of 32 people were conferred with Australian Citizenship during a ceremony at Burnie Arts on Monday.

As Mayor Teeny Brumby said, "Join me in welcoming these incredible individuals into our community. Each one brings unique talents, stories, and dreams to enrich our city. 

"A huge congratulations to our new citizens! Let's continue to embrace diversity and unity as we build a brighter future together."

A special thank you to Senator Anne Urquhart for attending the Citizenship Ceremony and presenting recipients with gifts of Australian-themed books to commemorate this special occasion.
