Extension of free storm-related waste disposal

Here’s what you need to know for Free Storm Event Rubbish Drop-Off:

• Residential customers can still drop off storm-related debris, food waste, green waste, and other items.
• Proof of residency is required to confirm that you are a Burnie resident.
• Please inform Waste Transfer Station staff upon arrival that you are dropping off storm damage items.
• Remember to sort your items before arriving at the Waste Transfer Station to streamline the process.
• The offer is for non-commercial users of the Burnie Waste Management Centre.
