Playground Study - Shorewell Park

Burnie City Council is designing a roadmap for the stageable upgrade and implementation of Burnie's parks and playgrounds through the creation of five key 'connected parks'.

These connected parks are built upon existing assets and features, establishing a hierarchy and strengthening the sense of place and uniqueness of Burnie.

The network of five connected parks will each have their own unique design themes

Shorewell Park – Rural Theme
View Road Reserve – Adventure Theme
Burnie Park – Nature Theme
Cooee Point – Geology Theme
Waterfront – Marine Theme

The $1.5m concept design planned for Shorewell Park is now out for community consultation. To have your input, please fill out the short survey below.

Large scale concept design of Shorewell Park will be on display in the Council foyer from Monday 17 March, alongside the Playground Study Document(PDF, 13MB), and hard copies of the feedback forms.
