West Ridgley Road Culvert Replacement

A culvert on West Ridgley Road at Serpent Creek is undergoing replacement, with drainage issues being addressed in the upgrade.

January 2025
A spoon drain has been sealed along the verge to make sure the surface run-off from the road is channelled into the nearby watercourse. Next, our contractor will seal the road after our crews spend one last day on a final trim, and another will reinstate the fencing for the property owners who have provided us with access and storage during the job.

December 2024
A new box culvert has been installed and road base material compacted in preparation for resealing works in early January.

October 2024
There will be interruptions to West Ridgley Rd, and the road will be closed at times to replace a culvert starting on Monday, the 14th of October, for approximately 4-6 weeks.

To avoid intermittent road closures, please take Guide Road and Serpentine Road as alternatives. See the attached picture for more information.
