Oonah Road - Updates

Monday 3 February - Road Open!

Please find all updates outlining the remediation process to rectify the damage caused as the result of extreme weather in October 2022 to Oonah Road East and Oonah Road West.

We would like to thank the community for your patience and understanding as we work hard in repairing this road.

Community Grants Program 2025-26 - Open

The Community Grants Program enables Council to support a diverse range of activities, services, programs and events that are responsive to the community’s needs.

This year, Council have incorporated the Major Events Expressions of Interest (EOI) process, to now sit within the Community Grants Program.

Romaine Dam Outlet Pipe and Valve Renewal

Council contactors Poly Welding Solutions (PWS) have commenced work replacing the Romaine Dam scour pipe, and the upgrade of the scour pipe valve pit.

Please note: Water levels at the dam have been lowered (temporarily) to gain access to the pit on the dams embankment.
