After-hours Animal Control
Council responds to emergency animal control issues after-hours if:-
- a dog is or has attacked a person(s) or another animal
- a dog at large is causing a risk to public safety ie. behaving in an aggressive manner or causing an issue on high traffic volume roads/streets
- livestock at large are on a public road or other public areas
Routine dog complaints such as barking or nuisance dogs needs to be reported to Council’s Compliance Services Department on the next available working day.
